Who Am I?
I am an aspiring Web Developer, also interested in UX/UI design. I strive to write clean, scalable, and modular code. I have a passion for learning, in general. SearchI made the decision to make a career change into Web Development and have been teaching myself with books, online courses, video tutorials, anything I can get my hands on. Here, our cat Cirrus (named after the plane) poses, as if taking credit for completing the free code camp calculator project.
I love travelling and I love photography, so when I'm travelling (here in Antarctica) you will rarely find me without a camera in hand. One of my favorite programming projects thus far has been creating a photo gallery of my favorite images from each continent of our travels. The name of the project is Around The World. You can see it here.
My husband is a pilot, with a huge love of warbirds. Here I sit relaxing and enjoying the view while he flies us around the California Bay Area in a 1942 Vultee BT-13. This is the plane flown by the WASP in World War 2. Never heard of them? Neither had I, which is a true shame! You can read about them here.
